Angela Hyke Death | Ashley Lucas Death – Cresco woman and her daughter were murdered by a carnival worker, Clary Irwin Thomas, 24, of Atchison, Kan.
Angela Hyke was murdered at the of 25, alongside her daughter Ashley Lucas who was 8-year-old at the time of her death. Both women were reportedly killed by Irwin.

Irwin made a court appearance in Waterloo, Friday, and almost throughout the time in his first court appearance in the murder of both women, he was starring at his laptop.
Irwin only raised his head to answer questions thrown to him by the judge.
Who Is Clary Irwin Thomas?
Thomas was traveled to Iowa Thursday night from Wichita, Kan., where he was captured for two includes of first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Angela Hyke and 8-year-old Ashley Lucas.
He told his mom he carried out the violations, yet he doesn’t have a clue why, his mom said Friday.
Authorities said he slaughtered the two in Cresco and afterward, joined by his significant other, Bobbi Thomas, drove the bodies to Atchison in Hyke’s vehicle.
Howard County authorities decided to move Thomas to Black Hawk County Friday.
“Given the smallness of our jail and because down here they are used to handling somebody under these circumstances, it made sense to move him down here,” said Joseph Haskovec, Howard County attorney.
The first arrangement was to have the Black Hawk County open safeguard’s office handle his case, however, while the workplace spoke to him Friday in a constrained limit, it declined to take his case on account of an irreconcilable circumstance.
