Anthony Kender Death – The police have released the identity of the man who drowned while fishing on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 on Lake Quinsigamond as 32-year-old Anthony Kender from Worcester.
According to official reports, Kender was fishing with a relative in Worcester before the sad incident occurred.

Kender’s cousin, Eric Plikunas told the police that the decease was fishing in the lake with another cousin before Kender lost his footing and fell into the deeper part of the Lake.
The relative with him dove into the water to rescue Kender, says Plikunas.
At around 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday, Kender went missing in the water near Plantation Street and never resurfaced, says the police.
The diving team from Worcester Fire Department responded to the scene after the report of a missing man in the Lake.
Kender was later found and pulled unresponsive from under the water, says the police.
Efforts were made to resuscitate him and later transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus where he was later confirmed dead.
Investigation is still on.
