Antonio Jermell Jackson Death | Antonio Jermell Jackson Obituary – Antonio Jermell Jackson, the man injured in a shooting Wednesday evening in Birmingham’s Southtown public housing community died in the early morning of Thursday, 16th of July 2020.
According to reports, Antonio Jermell Jackson, 23, of Birmingham, was shot in the 2300 block of 9th Court South at 6:37 p.m. Jackson was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital at 12:15 a.m. on Thursday. The homicide is being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department. Sgt. Rod Mauldin said officers called to the scene found Jackson lying on the floor near the front of the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. A motive has not been established and no one is in custody.
