Saddened to hear the news that Arthur Mason has passed away. My team has never personally faced him, but to see the tributes to a man who gave so much to grass roots/local football is really touching. What a hero. @JollyTopersFC and anyone associated with Arthur – our condolences pic.twitter.com/YygZfJjW4t

Arthur Mason was a huge football lover and he had shown great financial support to grassroot sport.
Unfortunately, we’ve heard some bad news tonight, sadly another legend Luton Town fan has died today age 60, Arthur Mason who I knew very well like many others who had a great laugh with Arthur at the matches home and away.
Condolences to his family and friends.

We are sad and devastated to find out that Arthur Mason suddenly passed away earlier today.
Arthur had been a regular supporter switching his time between watching Luton Town and ourselves this season where he also helped to bring some excellent players to our club. 1/3
