Ashley Rose Jimenez Death – The identity of the woman who died after a fatal collision involving 7 cars on I-93 northbound near Dorchester on Saturday, August 22 has been released by the police as 39-year-old Ashley Rose Jimenez, of Dennis.
Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene, says the police.

According to the troopers report, seven cars where involved in a fatal crash by the Freeport Street exit. Jimenez was a driver of a Nissan Altima before her demise.
According to the initial investigation, Jimenez lost control of the Nissan after hitting a traffic barrier attenuator. She then struck a Brewster EMS ambulance that was transporting a patient, says the police.
After the initial crash with the ambulance, three other cars got involved.
According to the report, the occupants of the Brewster EMS ambulance were injured; the two male medics, and a female patient that was being transported. Also a man driving another vehicle was also injured in the crash, says the police.
Four other motorists involved in the crash were taken to Boston Medical Center for minor injury treatment.
Inside Jimenez’s car, small bottles of alcohol were found, says the police.
The investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
