Barry Mayger death & obituary: Chicory Tip founding member has died. We are yet to confirm the actual date he passed away.
Barry was a member of Maidstone-based 70s band and had been played with the band when they scored their number 1 hit song titled “Son of My Father.”
The song, which featured a driving rhythm from a Moog synthesizer, was at the top of the UK charts for three weeks and a huge hit around the world.
Mr Mayger attended South Borough School where he met Rick Foster, and at 15, they formed their fist band together.
