Blue Lagoon Death – On Sunday, August 9, 2020, Crews from the Huntsville Fire Department dive team, Walker County EMS, Walker County Sheriff’s Office and the Crabbs Prairie Fire Department were dispatched to the Blue Lagoon on Pinedale Rd. in Pine Prairie on the report of a swimmer who had possibly drowned.
This report was made at about 1.45 p.m on Sunday afternoon, says the sheriff’s office.

The official search team were advised to get a boat and divers for the search, and the crews came in contact with civilian divers who were also trying to find the drowned swimmer, says the Crabbs Prairie VFD.
The victim was later found by the HFD’s boat and dive team.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office.
