Brenda Burley Death | Obituary – A former City Councilwoman Brenda Burley sadly passed away, Brenda was the former City Councilwoman for 16 years including 4 as Mayor Pro-Tem, Airport Commissioner for 12.
Brenda was an incredible friend and an outstanding advocate and champion for Youngsville. I have so many memories of our service together and our friendship that I’ll always cherish. She believed in me from day one, treated me like family, and always inspired me to be a better person.
Brenda may have been small in size but she was larger than life. She knew how to have a good time, how to handle business, and how to keep us all on our toes. Intimidating at times, she kept our meetings lively and interesting. She will be greatly missed but her legacy and influence will go down in history.
Brenda was one of the most interesting people I’ve been privileged to know. She was a pilot, lived extensively overseas, & traveled the world. May she Rest In Peace and may her family find comfort during this difficult time. Arrangements are pending.
We express our sympathy and deepest condolences to Burley’s family today and in the days, weeks, months, and years that are to come as they cope with his passing. May his soul rest in peace.
It’s with great sadness that I share the death of Youngsville’s Brenda Burley. A former City Councilwoman for 16 years…
