Brittany Monson Obituary: According to public Department of Public Safety, 29-year-old Brittany was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that occured in northeastern South Dakota.
Clark woman, Brittany was driving a 2017 Ford Explorer on Highway 212 just east of Clark around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Her vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2019 Ford pickup, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 47-year-old male driver of the pickup, whose name is not being released because he invoked Marsy’s Law, had minor injuries and was taken to a Watertown hospital.
Department of Public Safety confirmed both were wearing seat belts. They were the only occupants of their vehicles, according to the Department of Public Safety.
There is no photo from the accident scene that claimed the life of Brittany at this time.
