Delaware County Death – The police reports that at least one person is confirmed dead and multiple injured after a car stop turned into a police chase and then a fatal crash along a busy Delaware County road on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
The fatal crash occurred after 1 a.m. along MacDade Boulevard at West Oak Lane in Glenolden, Pennsylvania.

For several hours the roads were closed as local and county investigators sorted through the wreckage.
According to the rescue team’s report, an SUV driving along MacDade struck a smaller vehicle, sending the smaller vehicle hard into a pole. There were multiple people in these vehicles.
The injured victims were transported to area hospitals while one person was confirmed dead at the scene.
The police reports that the driver of the SUV tried to escape by foot but was later caught and arrested.
The investigation was fully focused on the smaller vehicle by the medical examiner.
The victims identities at this moment have not been released.
