32-year-old Byron Batiste was shot and killed on Prescott Road, according to Baton Rouge Police report.
The shooting that claimed the life of Batiste happened Saturday evening, just before 8:52 p.m. BRPD spokesperson Sgt. L’Jean McKneely Jr. said call about the shooting came around 8:52 p.m
EMS spokesperson Nick McDonner said emergency services responded to 5459 Prescott Road, where The Lodge Apartments are located.
Byron Batiste was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
