Carl Tobie Death – The New Jersey State Police have identified the man who died after a two-vehicle collision on the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday, July 21, as 59-year-old Carl Tobie, of Somers Point.
This release was made on Wednesday, July 22.
According to Trooper Charles Marchan, Tobie was driving a Honda Accord when his vehicle collided with an Infiniti near mile marker 35.3 northbound in Egg Harbor Township. Tobie’s Honda went off the parkway at mile marker 39.7 in Galloway Township, and it caught fire.

The driver of the Infiniti, a 39-year-old man from Camden County was not injured, says Trooper Alejandro Goez on Wednesday.
Investigation is still on to determine the cause of the crash and the vehicle fire.
An autopsy will be carried out to determine Tobie’s cause of death, says the state troopers.
