Chantel M. Winfield died February 26, 2020 following severe motor accident that occurred on Interstate 70, said report.
Chantel M. Winfield passed away Wednesday morning in accident. She was driving westbound in a 2002 Kia Sportage, when for reasons unknown, she lost control of the vehicle, the Kia hit a concrete barrier, swerved back into the road and was struck by an oncoming semi-trailer, the force of the collision ejected her from the vehicle into a river embankment and the SUV came to rest on the side of the road, she was severely injured and uncommunicative at the scene of the accident, report said.
Winfield was pronounced dead at the scene. She passed on at the age of 35 from injuries sustained in crash, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
