Cherry Kato Death – The identity of a woman found dead early Wednesday, in the Hollywood Heights neighborhood in west Shreveport, just north of Shreveport Regional Airport, has been released on Sunday, July 19, by Caddo Parish Coroner’s office as Cherry Kato, 49.

Kato was found by Shreveport Police officers making a welfare check inside a residence in the 4900 block of Durham Place just after 9 a.m., after Kato’s family members reported being unable to contact her.
An autopsy will be carried out at University Health to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
