Chuck Turner has died on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 78. He was a former councilor for Roxbury, who held the District 7 seat.
Chuck Turner’s death was announced by Kim Janey who is currently occupying the seat Turner once did. His cause of death was not said yet.

Turner served as the city councilor 11 years before the council voted to expel him following a conviction for taking a bribe.
Chuck Turner was born in Cincinnati in 1941, he later moved to Boston where he attended Harvard, and later became a community activist in the South End in the mid-1960s.
