Clare Glenetske Death –  The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 3-year-old Douglas County girl that drowned in a public swimming area in southern Otter Tail County on Friday, July 24.

She’s been identified as Clare Glenetske.

Clare the daughter of Chris and Louisa Glenetske of Osakis was pulled from the water on Eagle Lake, says the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

According to reports, at 2:14 p.m on Friday, the first responders were called in while CPR was already performed on Clare by the people at the lake. She was later put on a Life Link Medic helicopter and taken to a hospital in the Twin Cities metro area. where she sadly passed on.

Reports have it that the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Ashby Ambulance, Ringdahl Ambulance, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the Battle Lake Police Department all responded to the scene.

Her mother Louisa is a maths teacher in the Brandon-Evansville School District while her father, Chris, works for the United States Postal Service.

Clare has four older siblings – Lucy, Isabel, Thomas and Ruby.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to collect donations for the family.
