Claudell Washington Obituary – former Yankees outfielder Claudell Washington has passed away Wednesday morning, June 10th at the age of 65.
Washington played with the Yankees for 17 years until 1990. As at 2018, he opened up about his battle with prostrate cancer and decided to discontinue treatment for the ailment.
Washington’s career started eight weeks before his 20th birthday. He first played with the Oakland Athletics in 1974, when he played in 73 games.
