Cricco Åkerberg Death | Cricco Åkerberg Obituary – It has been announced that Swedish Grand Prix rider and trainer Cricco Åkerberg has died. Cricco Åkerberg sadly passed away on Tuesday, 30th of June 2020 in the saddle at the age of 76. Despite her age, Akerberg was still riding three horses per day.
According to reports, It is suspected that Cricco collapsed while riding her PRE stallion Chatungo (by) and then fell off the horse. Åkerberg competed at national Grand Prix level in Sweden and preferred riding Iberian horses most recently.
The Lusitano stallion Toureio (by Dardo) and his son Futuro, as well as Chatungo, were part of her string of horses.
