Dave Forfar Death | Dave Forfar Obituary – According to a tweet made by Leicester Tigers (@LeicesterTigers) on the 28th of July 2020, former back-row forward Dave Forfar is no more. Dave made 223 appearances for Tigers, with his debut coming in a win at Manchester in April 1971, and played in the 1978 John Player Cup Final against Gloucester.
His final game was the 1981 fixture against Australia at Welford Road when he picked up the knee injury which ended his career at the age of 30. The cause of death was not stated. We issue our condolences.
