Dean Rogers Death | Dean Rogers Obituary – Former voice of the @PortlandSeaDogs at Hadlock Field has been pronounced dead in a tweet made on the 7th of July 2020 by Portland Sea Dogs (@PortlandSeaDogs). For more than 4 decades, Rogers worked in local radio. He was a member of both the Maine Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame.
Dean Rogers’ buttery-smooth voice welcomed baseball fans to Hadlock Field for the first 19 seasons of the Portland Sea Dogs. He died from cardiac arrest after hip surgery Sunday, 5th of July 2020 at the age of 73.
