Denee Rawls Missing: Boyfriend charged with murder of his missing girlfriend

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, a Charlotte man has been charged with murder after the body of a missing woman was found. Information reaching us at this time reveals that the police have charged the boyfriend of a missing 21-year-old woman in Charlotte with her murder.

The police said they found 21-year-old Denee Rawls deceased on November 29. Homicide detectives quickly identified the victim’s boyfriend, Nicholas, as the suspect in the case, and a warrant was issued for his arrest and quickly 21-year-old Nicholas Davis was been located and arrested by the detectives with the murder of his girlfriend.

According to information, on November 22 police claimed that Denee Rawls willingly left her home on Robur Court. However, her family grew increasingly concerned for her safety when she did not return back home. The family reported her missing to the authorities on November 24. CMPD is seeking the public’s help in the search to locate the missing 21-year-old woman.

On November 29, the investigation led detectives to Harrisburg Road, where they located the body of Denee Rawls. The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. It is not known if the death of the missing girl is suspicious.

Davis was arrested early Tuesday morning, interviewed by detectives, and transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with murder. Davis will be in court on December 1.
