Dennis Williams Death – The identity of the man who drowned last night,Tuesday, July 14, in Toledo Bend Lake has been released by the authorities as 39-year-old Dennis Williams.
The Sabine Parish Coroner’s Office reports that around 8:00 p.m on Tuesday, the body of Williams was discovered near the Turtle Beach boat launch.

According to the detectives, Williams was with his girlfriend when he decided to swim. When she waited for him for a while, she followed him to the boat launch area where she found his cell phone and other items but no sign of Williams. She started calling out for him when she didn’t see him.
Williams body was later found face down floating in about 4 feet of water along a sea wall on the property and the water was rough at the time he was found.
Before the arrival of the paramedics, bystander already administered CPR but all efforts proved futile.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy has been assigned to know the manner and cause of his death.
The investigation is being handled by the Sabine Parish Coroner’s Office, Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
