Dexter Dewayne Speight Death – The Birmingham Police Department have released the identity of the victim who was shot and killed on Monday, July 27 in a homicide as 31-year-old Dexter Dewayne Speight.
According to the police report, at about 9.15 p.m on Monday, July 27, Speight was shot at Twin Gates Apartments in the 700 block of Springville Road.

Speight was immediately taken to UAB hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
He died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

No one has been arrested so far and investigation on this case continues by the Birmingham Police Department.
