Dezman Allen, a 24-year-old Senior Trooper Jesse LaGrange from Lockport has passed away. He died in a fatal accident that happened around 2:30 a.m. State Police said.
Allen Dezman was traveling in a 2006 Ford Focus on La. 1 near Gaspard Drive in the Valentine area when the crash happened. While he whole circumstances surrounding his death is still being investigated, Allen reportedly ran off the roadway to the right and struck a boat dock near Bayou Lafourche.
Allen suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Medical Center, where he died early this morning, LaGrange said.
It is unknown if Allen was wearing a seat belt, and the crash remains under investigation, LaGrange said.
