On July 28, 2021, at approximately 1945 hours, a Deputy Coroner Investigator was dispatched to Lake Britton in Burney, California regarding a person found in the water. The subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency personnel.
The decedent has been positively identified as 23 year old Don Taylor Gorum of Sparks, Nevada. The decedent’s next-of-kin has been notified and a postmortem examination will be scheduled.
