Douglas Adelin Portillo-Funes Death – The authorities have confirmed and released the identity of the man who drowned to death on Lake Somerville on Sunday, August 16 as 27-year-old Douglas Adelin Portillo-Funes of Honduran.
Portillo-Funes was recovered by Game Wardens around 10:35 a.m. on Monday, August 17.

He was reported missing on Sunday, just before 9.00 p.m.
According to the report of the family members, Portillo-Funes was swimming and went underwater and never resurfaced.
The search for Portillo-Funes was immediately launched and the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Park Rangers and the Somerville Volunteer Fire Department all responded to search for him. The search was paused overnight and resumed Monday morning.
According to the authorities, Portillo-Funes’ body will be sent to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
