Dr. Kenneth (Ken) A. Mooney Death | Dr. Kenneth (Ken) A. Mooney Obituary – Dr. Kenneth (Ken) A. Mooney passed away peacefully on August 17, 2020. Dr. Kenneth served in the Federal government for nearly 50 years. In 1983, he joined NOAA’s Office of Climate and Atmospheric Research (OCAR), which later became the Office of Global Programs (OGP), the forerunner to the Climate Program Office (CPO). He was known to be an amazing person he contributed passionately to his program and community. He wan an icon and mentor to many he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
