Eight Murders in 24-hours keeps Police Busy | Weekend Killings – Police Officers were kept busy over the weekend investigating eight murders over twenty-four hours. TTT News understands that the latest murder happened in the Matura area on Sunday afternoon. Reports are that 40-year-old Gidron King was stabbed during a domestic dispute. On Saturday night 2 men were shot and killed in separate incidents.
In the St Madeleine area, a man identified as Kwame Sandiford was shot dead just after 8 o’clock. Hours later in the Tunapuna area, Kevin Venus of Maingot Road was fatally shot. Earlier on Saturday, Dinelvi Tinto, a former soldier and barber was shot and killed at Galaxy Gardens, D’Abadie. And in Port of Spain, a man identified as Jason “Buss Gun” Hamilton, was found shot dead in Gonzales.
Early on Saturday morning, 17-year-old Kerdiel Sealey of Aboud Circular St James was one of two people shot and killed in the St James area. The other person has been identified as 22-year-old Nicholai Andrews, also of the St James area. TTT News also understands that the headless body of a man was discovered in the Caura area on Saturday
