Electrician’s Death In Fort Lauderdale – A certified electrician in his 70s was found dead inside a Fort Lauderdale home on Monday, 29th June, 2020.
As reported by the homeowner, the electrician was doing some electrical work in the attic of the home located on the 6500 block of Northeast 20th Way when he didn’t respond to the multiple calls from the homeowner.

This prompted the homeowner who in turn contacted the fire rescue saying that he last heard from the electrician around 2:30pm
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief, Stephen Gollan reports that “The owner of the property had seen him earlier in the day, but had not heard from him for a couple of hours. When they called out to him, he wasn’t responding back to them.”
Investigation is ongoing by the authorities as to the cause of death.
According to Gollan, “Upon arrival, our crews made contact with the individual and found the individual to be deceased,”
The body was removed from the attic by the tactical rescue team, although it seemed hard due to the location of the deceased.
As of Monday evening, an autopsy is yet to be perform to reveal the cause of death.
It is said by the authorities that the cause of death could be anything from heat exhaustion due to the fact that he was working in the attic for several hours, the possibility that he was electrocuted while doing work or a medical episode
