Over the past few hours, the news of Elisa Grentato’s death has been wildly circulating all over the internet. Grenato is the first volunteer in the Oxford’s coronavirus vaccine trial.
Medical Correspondent for the BBC, Fergus Walsh has made it known through Twitter that Grentato is still alive and not dead as earlier speculated.

Twitter has been circulating an article from “n5ti” (sounds legit ?) saying “Elisa Granato, the first volunteer in UK coronavirus vaccine trial has tragically died two days after receiving the vaccine.”

Dr Elisa Granato (1 of the 1st to be injected with the trial vaccine) was reported to have died after 2 days, but her account has tweeted to say its a fake story – but then protected itself.
