His most prominent artwork is the World’s Largest Buffalo in Jamestown, North Dakota. Petersen lived and worked in Galesville, Wisconsin.
Elmer’s work has greatly influenced the whole of Jamestown as people from far and near come to visit the World’s Largest Buffalo. We extend our condolences to the family and friends of Elmer Petersen.
