Eric Rooney Death | Obituary – Eric Rooney age 50 was mysteriously found dead in Drumcondra’s home. Eric found yesterday by gardai after they were investigating an attempted break-in.
His body was found after gardai received a call at about 11pm on Saturday that a number of men were attempting to break into the house. When officers arrived at the home, they discovered Mr Rooney’s body. It remains unclear whether the alleged break-in was connected with his death. His body was then removed from the home around 12.30pm.
Members of the National Bureau of Investigations and the Garda Technical Bureau remained.
