Evelyn Rose Smith, a 41-year-old woman from Theodore was pronounced dead at the scene following a fatal crash that happened on Saturday, a little after 4:30 p.m. on Padgett Switch Road near Deakle Road.
Evelyn Rose Smith Cause Of Death
Smith was a passenger in a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by 19-year-old Mark Cowart, they were traveling south when their car struck two vehicles on northbound lane.
One of the vehicles was a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Victoria Forbes, and the other was a 2014 Ford edge driven by Kaitlyn Lumpkin.
Both women were rushed to Springhill Medical Center for treatment. Cowart was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sadly, Cowart passenger, Evelyn Rose Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
