2:30 p.m. accident that happened at the intersection of Route 40 and Mt. Lena Road near Boonsboro, Maryland have killed 3 people dead.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash in Washington County, Maryland, Tuesday afternoon.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
One person was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Another was taken to Meritus Health Hospital in Hagerstown.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
