Big Chico Creek Drowning – The police says a woman was pronounced dead after she drowned in Big Chico Creek, near Highway 99 on Saturday around 12:30pm.
When the first responders got a 911 call about a drowning in Big Chico Creek, on arrival found out it was a female.

Efforts on saving her life were made by the first responders and she was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead by the doctor.
Pending notification of next-of-kin, her identity is being withheld.
