Born in February 1921 in Burlington, Conn., was serving aboard the USS Maryland on Dec. 7, 1941, when the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor came under attack by Japan. Floyd Welch a hero he contributed passionately to his community and country, Floyd contributed decades of dedication to his country he will be greatly missed for his priceless impact to his community and country.
