Gil Cunha Death | Gil Cunha Obituary – We are sad to be announcing the death of Gil Cunha. He went missing nearly two months ago in the early morning hours of his 50th birthday and the search for him recently drew national attention.
Gil Cunha was last seen by a family member May 7 in the area of Overlook Avenue in West Haven, according to a Silver Alert issued by police. There were also several billboards and hundreds of “missing person” posters along the shoreline in an effort to help find him but unfortunately, he was later found dead on Long Island Sound in July 2020 according to multiple reports.
According to FOX 61 reports, Gil Cunha was found dead by the Suffolk County New York Police Department and West Haven police are working with authorities to determine the cause of death.
