Heather Fitzgerald Death – Kansas City Police have confirmed and also released the identity of the woman who got killed following a fatal accident along I-435 on Wednesday, July 15, as 40-year-old Heather Fitzgerald, of Lee’s Summit
According to Police the incident happened late Wednesday night in the northbound lanes of I-435 when Heather’s car and a truck collided.
Fitzgerald’s car was left disabled in the far left lane of traffic, and she got out of the car and stood on the shoulder of the interstate, suddenly a northbound SUV came upon the disabled car and tried to avoid it by veering around it onto the shoulder, thereby hitting the car and Fitzgerald.
She was confirmed dead at the scene.
