Hector Garcia-Molina Cause Of Death

Hector Garcia-Molina is dead. His cause of death and exact date he died are not been made public at this time. We first learned about the death of the Mexican-American computer scientist and Professor in the Departments of Computer Science through a Twitter posted by Vasilis Vassalos.

“A towering figure of modern computing has passed away. Hector Garcia-Molina, data management pioneer, advisor to Sergey Brin, longtime board member of , professor at , has died. RIP Hector. I was very fortunate to study with you.”

Garcia-Molina is  well known in the computing world and had been the brain behind many useful upgrade in the computing technological development.

Gracia-Molina was an Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. He was advisor to Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google, from 1993 to 1997 when he was a computer science student at Stanford.
