The victim in this case is 38-year-old Heidi Bentley from Providence, Utah. She is the one who was heard screaming over the phone moments before gunshots were heard. Her ex-husband is being identified as the suspect in this case: 38-year-old Matthew Bentley from Providence, Utah.
Heidi Bentley and Matthew Bentley were once-married pair. Both parties allegedly placed calls to law enforcement in the weeks leading up to the murder-suicide, Cache County Sheriff’s Office said. The phone calls will be reviewed as part of the investigation. The official cause of death for both individuals is under consideration.
