Identity of the Driver In Sunday Shelby Crash that Killed 3 Children, Teen and Adult Revealed – Tora Masterson, 10, Ella Masterson, 4 and 2-year-old, Mason Masterson, were all killed in a crash that also killed Sandra Parks, 61, and 15-year-old Tenaha girl Mackenzie Parks on Sunday near Center. Reports says that Michael Masterson, of Center, Texas, has been identified as the driver in a Sunday night crash that killed three children, a teen and an adult in Shelby County.
According to reports from TheCount, Masterson was driving a Toyota pickup on FM 2026, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with a GMC pickup, operated by the teen. Michael Masterson was transported to a Shreveport area hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
News release says that all three children inside Masterson’s vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries. Mackenzie Parks was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries. Sandra Parks was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
