Infant Attacked By A Pit Bull – The Hunty County Chief on Monday morning responded to a call about an incident that took the life of an infant. The infant was attacked and killed by a dog.
This incident happened in 9900 block of Private Road 3820 in the Easy Living. The infant was found in the roadway by the first deputy on scene. He said “the boy had suffered major trauma as a result of a dog attack.”

The infant was rushed to Hunt Regional Medical Center in Quinlan, via an ambulance, but did not make it.
Information has it that the boy had gotten out of the enclosed yard without family members realizing it and went down the gravel road.
He was attacked by a pit-bull, which was believed to be in its enclosed yard and held by a four-foot chain like fence, but was also able to get out of the yard and attack the infant.
The pit bull is being held by the local animal control facility.
The Sheriff in charge pours some words of condolence to the family “I am heartbroken over this whole matter and my thoughts and prayers are with the family tonight.”
