Jahvon Simmons Missing: Police found the body of a missing 28-year-old man

News reaching us reveals that the police found a body as they were searching for a missing man who disappeared in Derbyshire during the early hours of Friday morning. Officers located the 28-year-old off Holbeck Close, Chesterfield, at 4 pm on Monday 29 November.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “His family has been made aware and they have asked for their thanks to being passed on to everyone in the Chesterfield area who has helped in the search for Mr. Simmons”.

The spokesperson said, “There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances in relation to the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner”.

Earlier: 28-year-old Jahvon Simmons was reported missing after being on a night out in Chesterfield on Thursday, November 25, and was last seen on Brewery Street at around 2.45 am on Friday morning. Jahvon who is understood to have been in Derbyshire for work is originally from Reading.

Police are appealing for urgent information on the whereabouts of the 28-year-old Jman, who is missing in Chesterfield. If only one could understand the worries in the hearts of the missing man’s family. We can not say Simmons is safe as no one has seen him since he disappeared.

Simmons had been with a friend on the night of Friday, November 26, 2021. but they later went separate ways. He was last seen walking in Corporation Street at about 1.40 am on Friday, 26 November. Please help find Simmons by being on the lookout for him. According to police Jahvon is from Reading and is working in Chesterfield with a colleague. The report says he does not know the area, hence might have gotten into trouble.

He is described as a Black male, about 6ft 1ins, and of athletic build. He was wearing a black puffer jacket, black jeans, and possibly black Nike trainers. We are extremely concerned for his welfare and are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

The police said they are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr. Simmons after the last known sighting of him in the Holbeck Close area at around 2.55 am on Friday.
