Jake Steel Death | Obituary – Jake Steel age 23 who battled Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which attacked all of his bones sadly passed away.
Twenty-three-year-old Jake Steel was that less than half of one percent. He was a positive guy – his younger brother Luke described him as “goofy, he’s just boisterous and in a great mood all the time.”
That positive attitude didn’t waiver even on that June 2018 summer day.
Jake’s mother, Liza Steel, said Jake was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Cancer had attacked all of his bones.
After a successful treatment, he went into remission later in the year but side effects left him paralyzed.
“The whole time that he hardly ever got depressed or angry about it because he was always ready to fight it,” Steel said.
That’s who Jake was…a fighter. In May 2019, his leukemia came back and that time around, treatments weren’t as successful.
“He would go into remission and then it would come back and we would have to try something else,” Steel said.
We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Rest in peace.
It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. We wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever. We promise to keep you alive in Our memories.
Even in death, you are still loved and forever will be. You have touched the hearts of so many who owe you a lifetime of gratitude. We are not saying goodbye forever but goodbye for now. We pray you to find peace and rest wherever you are.
We express our sympathy and deepest condolences to Jake Steel ’s family today and in the days, weeks, months, and years that are to come as they cope with his passing. May his soul rest in peace.
