James Lamon Death – The California Highway Patrol has confirmed and released the identity of a man who died after a motorcycle collision that happened on Los Berros Road in San Luis Obispo County on Friday afternoon as 31-year-old James Lamon, of Santa Maria.
The incident occurred near Century Lane at around 3:42 p.m. July 17, says the CHP.
According to reports, Lamon was riding his motorcycle west on Los Berros Road when he went across the double yellow lines at a curve and collided with an oncoming pickup.
Lamon died at the scene as a result of the accident.
Following the crash, Los Berros Road was shut down temporarily by the authorities.
The accident is still under investigation by the CHP.
