Obituary: Janice Luk Chan has passed away. He was killed in a single vehicle crash , a Saturday morning accident that happened in Rockville. Janice and one other person were killed after the car they were in skipped the road and hit a tree.
83-year-old man named Kei Tam Yuen, died of her injuries at the hospital. Janice Luk Chan, also died of her injuries later on Saturday.
The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. in the 200 block of North Washington Street. Police believe that the vehicle, a 2016 Corolla, was traveling eastbound on Beall Avenue, and while turning right onto northbound Washington Street, veered off the road and struck a tree.
