Jason Martin, a 20-year-old man has died. He was shot to death on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Forest Park.
Jason Martin passed away on Thanksgiving Day just before 5 p.m.
Police responded to a shooting around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Lee Circle and Madison Street. According to report, when police arrived, Jason Martin, had already been taken to Southern Regional Medical Center by a friend.
Forest Park police Sgt. Kelli Flanigan said. Martin later was later pronounced dead at the hospital. He was shot at least once.
“The suspect is still at large and has yet to be identified. However, this does not appear to be a random incident. It appears the suspect and the victim are known acquaintances,” Kelli said in new release.
