Jay Holcey Death | Jay Holcey Obituary – Jay Holcey, the producer for many of Alabama State’s football and basketball games on WVAS-90.7 FM has died. Jay Holcey suddenly passed away on Thursday, 16th of July 2020. Jay, DJ Artifakt, has been involved in radio broadcasting since he was in high school working as an on-air host,  producer, and promotions assistant. Jay join the staff at WVAS, in 2005, to host the Sunday afternoon show titled Swing Town.

He replaced Bill “Philly” Boynton, who died unexpectedly.  Regarding Boynton as both a friend and mentor, Jay changed the name of the show to Bill Boynton’s Swing Town. This report was done in review of the post made by MA Football (@MAEagleSports) on the 17th of July 2020.
