Jerry Lee Sprague death & obituary. 79-year-old Sprague of Marietta, OH passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on August 13, 1940 in Marietta, OH to the late Henry and Carol Sprague.

Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Marietta High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church. Jerry enjoyed the Sky Sharks – RC Club of Vienna and his breakfast group at McDonalds.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Jean Becker Sprague, whom he married on November 27, 1960; two brothers, James H. Sprague of New Matamoras, OH, Terry Sprague of East Liverpool, OH; aunt, Evelyn Clifton of Coshocton, OH; special nephews, Thomas Blanchard of Iowa, William W. Blanchard (Lucile) and their daughter, Carolyn of Devola; sister-in-law, Linda Becker of Marietta; special friends, Ritchie Brown of Texas, Butch Wardeska of Beverly, OH; and his dogs, Goldie and Tator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Allen Sprague and a sister, Mary Jo Aggas.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Cawley and Amedysis Hospice.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will be observed with a memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, OH 45750.
