Jess Curtiss Death – The Great Falls vehicle collision victim has been identified on Tuesday, July 14, by the Cascade County Sheriff as 72-year-old Jess Curtiss.

The collision which involved a motorcycle and a car happened last week Wednesday, July 8th, at about 3:25 p.m at the intersection of 10th Avenue South and 39th Street.

The motorcyclist was eastbound on 10th Avenue South and Curtiss was traveling westbound in his car, says GFPD.

The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the car when Curtis made a left-hand turn on to 39th Street.

Both drivers were taken to Benefis Health System, where Curtiss was pronounced dead.

The motorcyclist was hospitalized under critical condition.

So far, there is no information if the driver will be charged or cited for the crash.

Although the police believes speed on the part of the motorcyclist was a factor, there is no indication that impaired driving was a factor.

There were no passengers involved in the crash, says the police.
